Richard Tinsman was a founder of Tinsman & Sciano, Inc. and graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1957. He practiced over 50 years. He was the ultimate "war horse" – a hard-working, hard-fighting lawyer who exhausted every avenue for his clients. A well-respected member of the San Antonio law community, Mr. Tinsman was nicknamed "Tiger" by colleagues who noted his aggressive approach to cases.

Mr. Tinsman retired in 2016 and passed away in 2023. Although he has gone, his thorough, no-nonsense approach to cases is the guiding principle at the practice that bears his name.
