Biography

Dennis is originally from Goliad, Texas.

After graduating from high school, Dennis enlisted in the United States Air Force and served six years before being honorably discharged in 2001. Dennis earned a number of awards and commendations while serving in the Air Force to include: Air Force Longevity Service Award, Air Force Training Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force BMT Honor Graduate Ribbon, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 1 Device and the Air Force Code Conduct Medal.

Dennis attended Faulkner University while in the Air Force and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with Honors, in December 2000. After returning to Texas, Dennis attended Texas Tech University School of Law and earned a Juris Doctorate in May 2004.

After graduating from law school, Dennis clerked for Chief Justice Rogelio Valdez of the Thirteenth Court of Appeals. During his time with the Court, Dennis was exposed to a variety of areas of the law and had the opportunity to observe how lawyers throughout Texas and beyond litigate cases. This experience has proven invaluable in the development of his litigation skills because Dennis heard directly from the judges hearing the cases which arguments and techniques were persuasive and which were not.

Building on his experiences with the Court, Dennis joined a defense firm in San Antonio and practiced primarily in personal injury and product liability defense. He later joined a business litigation firm in Dallas, Texas before returning to San Antonio where he joined a firm that maintained personal injury and product liability cases on the plaintiff's and defendant's side of the docket. Dennis quickly realized that his experience on the defense side of the docket gave him an advantage when representing injured plaintiffs. He is able to anticipate the strategies and tactics defense counsel will employ and effectively negate them due to his years of experience on the defense side of the docket.

Dennis' practice now focuses almost exclusively on personal injury and product liability litigation. He represents injured persons throughout the State of Texas and a number of other states.
